Scientific Programme
The Third Edition 2024 of the conference offered a rich scientific program with plenary sessions and workshops attended by prestigious international speakers from 13 countries including Japan, Australia and South Africa who shared their knowledge and experience in the field of sport science.
Genetic Symposium
Participants had the opportunity to attend presentations delivered by world-leading scientists in the field of exercise and sport genetics. The Genetics Symposium, held annually within the USSIC Congress, offers a dedicated forum for exploring the role of genetics in sport performance, health, and exercise adaptation. By bringing together researchers and professionals, the symposium focuses on current scientific evidence and translational research, highlighting how advances in exercise genetics are driving a gradual shift toward personalized training approaches informed by individual genetic profiles.
Workshops
Participants had the opportunity to participate in specialist workshops led by experts in the field, exploring specific topics related to sport sciences.
Conference Venues
The Cittadella Universitaria di Monserrato, the inaugural venue of the Congress, the beautiful city of Cagliari and the exclusive Forte Village Resort in Santa Margherita di Pula were the perfect setting for the third edition of USSIC.
